About
Oakpath Play started as a group chat between friends who kept recommending games to each other and arguing about which ones were actually good. We turned those arguments into a small independent site. Nobody here answers to a publisher.,Every game we cover gets real playtime. We don't rate things off a trailer or a press kit. If a review says the combat clicks around hour three, it's because someone on the team pushed through those first three hours.,We pick games across genres on purpose. RPGs are our soft spot, but a sharp racing game or a clever strategy title deserves the same care. We look for design that treats players fairly and stories that give you a reason to come back.,Our writing is plain and personal. No hype, no borrowed marketing phrases. If something annoyed us, we say so, and if we loved it, we tell you exactly why.
